Coffee and Vending Service Engineer – Manchester and surrounding areas

2468 Group is looking for Coffee & Vending Service Engineer to join our team in the Manchester region, based from our Warrington depot.

We are a workplace services provider. We provide snacking, coffee, water, and washroom services to 9,000 customers across Ireland and the UK.

This role will involve the service and repair of coffee & vending machines in Manchester and surrounding regions. Full training will be provided on this role.

The Role

As a Coffee & Vending Service Engineer you will be joining our front line customer service team. You’ll be passionate about setting and maintaining standards in machine performance and cleanliness.

You’ll have a passion for good customer service. Other skills we value would be pro-activity, team work and technical knowledge – and we will support you with full training in the role.

This is a full-time role and clean driving licence is required.

Responsibilities include:

• Set up of machines and equipment and calibration before they leave site
• Installation at customer premises in line with pre-agreed specs
• Repair & servicing of coffee and vending machines at customer sites
• Cleaning and servicing all coffee & vending machines on routes to ensure hygiene, safety, and efficiency
• Recording servicing and faults, liaising with HQ to manage repairs and parts as required, using our PDA system
• Carrying out minor repairs yourself, and reporting major repairs to HQ
• Providing a friendly and efficient service to all of our customers
• Ensuring that your work van is kept clean, properly maintained and safe at all times.
