Senior Sales / Business Development Manager

The Opportunity

2468 Group are looking for an experienced sales professional, an expert in generating and driving new business to achieve and exceed targets within the workplace facilities market of coffee, vending, water, catering & washroom services. 

We are one of the fastest growing players in the market, offering an integrated service to our customers, which is personalised and efficient. Our customers include blue chip global and indigenous brands.

The Role

You will be representing our offering of integrated workplace services to an audience of CEOs, Facilities and Procurement Directors and Human Resource Managers. The role involves the creation, negotiation and closing of commercial agreements with these segments. 

You will analyse the market potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers’ value to the organisation. 

We will be able to make the strong business case for our services based on how they can contribute to improving bottom line through employee engagement and improved customer experience.  

The role works with the support of marketing, commercial and operations groups.

Experience and skills we need:
  • Proficient at maintaining effective long-term business relationships at the senior level with key decision makers
  • National account management experience essential
  • You have a strong hunting mentality, you are driven, with strong commercial acumen
  • You have extensive C-Level / executive business sales experience
  • Proficient at identifying and targeting decision makers within organisations
  • Ability to build business cases and represent them to top decision makers
  • You have strong knowledge and experience of sales methodologies
  • Ability to immerse and identify key segment trends specific to customers’ business and industry
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Experience with CRM systems and technology
