We move to our Dunboyne Headquarters, providing space for our rapidly expanding operations, and an administrative HQ for our acquired operations.
We open a second UK Operations hub at Manchester. We add to our team in the UK.
This was the year that we entered into washroom servicing, establishing partnerships with key equipment manufacturers and acquiring a service business & customers in Ireland. From water to washrooms, we extend our services to business, bringing the same no-fuss diligence and dedication to service we apply to our water division.
We acquire the UK and Irish divisions of Jede AB, a coffee vending business from Nestle. This marks a further step in services diversification. While our services around water and washroom provide the essential backdrop to a functioning business, we now step closer to the heart of the working day with quality coffee.
We also acquire the Deep RiverRock watercooler division of Coca Cola, further extending our footprint in Ireland.
The business is re-organised with divisions in watercoolers now flanked by coffee equipment and vending divisions, along with washroom services. ‘Brilliantly efficient’ the 2468 brand is launched, establishing our straightforward commitment to getting it right first time for our customers, seamlessly and efficiently.
We open our manufacturing facility in Dunboyne, driving efficiencies in our services to customers in coffee packing. We start delivering to customers in Europe.
Ferns roastery becomes part of 2468.
Ferns is one of the oldest roasteries in Britain, and was established in 1893. The craft of coffee has barely changed in that time. We are respectful of that history, and carry on Ferns’ great coffee blends including ‘Picadilly’ and ‘Mayfair’. To these we add some new Fair-Trade blends. We continue to roast in small batches for our customers only. You could almost say we’re exclusive.

2468 provides integrated services to business, all focussed on enhancing the employee workplace experience. We provide workplace wellbeing because what we do - better coffee, great collaboration hubs, 24/7 sustenance, proper hydration and washrooms – helps people do better.
We do this now for 9,000 customers throughout the UK and Ireland. We are a team of 92, with 56 vehicles and three operations hubs. And growing.
