The Solution

2468 designed and delivered a multi-location food and coffee solution, installing smart fridges and coffee equipment throughout the Mater Private sites, including staff areas, patient-accessible zones, and the administration office. At the centre of the solution was our brand-new smart fridge, presented in a sleek, professional housing that enhanced each space while remaining approachable for patients and staff.

Customers simply tap their phone to unlock the fridge, select their items, and close the door—creating a fast, secure, and modern experience. To meet the hospital’s requirement for choice and nutrition, we supplied a broad and flexible menu, including:

  • Paninis, wraps, sandwiches and salads
  • High-protein, heat-and-eat meals such as pastas, bolognese, curries, and pulled pork dishes

All locations are fully serviced daily by the 2468 team, including stocking, cleaning, monitoring, and maintenance—removing the operational burden from hospital staff and management.

We also installed high-quality bean-to-cup coffee machines across multiple locations, featuring two Ferns hand roasted beans to suit all tastes and drinking preferences.

The Result

The smart fridges have proven highly successful, with strong engagement across both clinical and administrative areas. The administration office benefits from the same high-quality offering as the hospital floor, improving staff satisfaction and convenience.
